The Amit Golan piano trio

The Amit Golan piano trio plays the classic Hard Bop repertoire, perennial jazz standards Jazz standards, and original compositions.

The style and sound of the trio reflects the spirit of the classic piano trios of the fifties and sixties, inspired by the pianists of that era, mostly Tommy Flanagan, Barry Harris, Hank Jones, Sonny Clark and Horace Silver.

The trio has worked steadily for the last 9 years, developing a rapport which is all too rare on today's jazz scene The trio played as rhythm section for the top Israeli soloists, among them: Avishay Cohen, Anat & Yuval Cohen, Erez Bar-Noy, Asaf Yuria, Itay Kriss, Yotam Silverstein, Ofer Ganor, Amos Hoffman, Jonatan Voltchuk, Avi Leibovitch, and several international stars such as Slide Hampton, Steve Davis, and Joe Magnarelli.

The Amit Golan Quintet and Sextet

The Amit Golan Quintet plays the classic Hard Bop repertoire along with original compositions by Amit .

The style and sound of the band reflects the spirit of the classic Hard Bop combos of the late fifties and early sixties, such as The Horace Silver Quintet, The Jazztet, and The Blue Note and Riverside labels Quintets and Sextets.

The music of the band features the artistry and unique style of Amit Golan as a composer and horns arranger, in the tradition of the Horace Silver, Benny Golson, Kenny Dorham, and Jimmy Heath. The Quintet released its critically acclaimed debut album "I Decided!" in December 2007.

The Classic Jazz Organ Trio

The trio plays a swinging set of groovy tunes, soulful ballads & blues in the classic organ trio format. The sound of the trio is inspired by the music of Wes Montgomery's Organ trios. The repertoire includes interpretations of jazz classics from the Great American Songbook, Wes Montgomery compositions, as well as original compositions.
